To create Visuave, I recorded myself prounouncing each letter and then created this alphabet based on the visual sound wave patterns the recordings produced. The inspiration for this was the idea that we do not recognize the visual language of our speech. Each person in our class created an alphabet based on their own concepts and inspirations which we compiled into one typographic publication collaboratively. My role in the collaboration was to create the template for the book alongside the guidance of our teacher. I created this template so that each person could easily showcase their alphabet and concept. The cover then was created to act as the index for the publication.
